About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer (IC) to join our team and play a critical role in building and scaling our AI-powered SaaS platform. This is a pure individual contributor role, ideal for engineers who thrive on autonomy and delivering production-ready features across the stack. You’ll work on mission-critical systems and help evolve the platform architecture as we scale 10× over the next phase of growth.
What You’ll Do
- Ship full-stack features across our Django + React platform.
- Build integrations with third-party services such as OpenAI, Deepgram, and Twilio.
- Support and enhance LLM pipelines, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and data anonymization workflows.
- Contribute to architecture evolution, moving from a monolith toward a microservices-based infrastructure.
- Collaborate directly with Product and Design teams to iterate and deliver — minimal business-side meetings.
- Work independently to own features end-to-end, from idea to deployment.
You’ll focus on
- Decoupling a monolithic codebase into scalable microservices
- Building and maintaining robust RAG pipelines and LLM workflows
- Designing secure, compliant, API-first systems
- Applying eventual consistency patterns using DynamoDB
- Scaling infrastructure to support 10× user and traffic growth
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, Tailwind
- Backend: Python, Django
- Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB), Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres (RDS)
Who You Are

- Comfortable working independently to deliver features, handle integrations, and solve complex system challenges.
- Familiarity with conversational AI or LLM systems is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of SOC 2 compliance and privacy-focused design is a plus.
